There is a general greeting that we use in Greece;
Χρόνια πολλά (HRO-nia po-LA)  .
It means "many years". We use it for wishing : Happy birthday, happy name day, or we greet with this phrase during major holidays. Also the phrase: να ζήσετε (na ZI-sete) (you) or
να ζήσουν (na ZI-soun) (they)
means
"to live many years" and we use it as the "congratulations" in events such as
births, weddings or engagements.
