  This is a little difficult, so please pay very much attention. In simple words, when a noun or an article changes forms, we call this
Declension ( η κλίση ).
To understand what declension means, I'll give you an example in English.

Table 11.1
We say: "Nick's dog" The apostrophe and the "s" shows that Nick owns the dog. Without realizing it, you just declined the noun "Nick" in English.

In Greek it is a little more complicated than this. But don't get intimidated. In the next few lessons, I'll give you the basic rules of declension. Go on, click the next button and you'll see...
