Ares the god of war. He's the son of Zeus and Hera. Nobody
liked the blood thirsty god. Not even his father Zeus loved him.
Ares always has with him his
sons, Phoebus (Φόβος = fear) and Demos (Δείμος = terror or panic),
to spread fear and panic to the opponents. Also with him, is
Erida (Έριδα = dispute) the goddess of dissension.
Ares likes war. He's a tough and excellent
warrior himself, but he is not the winner all the time.
He always looses to the goddess Athena. With her wisdom and calmness she is able, not only
to defeat him, but she can give strength to some mortals to do the same.
Ares' wife is the goddess of beauty Aphrodite. She is helping her husband many
times but as we said, if Athena is in the battle against him, Ares will be defeated...

Ο Άρης είναι ο θεός του πολέμου. Είναι γιος του Δία και της Ήρας.
Σε κανένα δεν αρέσει ο διψασμένος για αίμα θεός. Ούτε ο πατέρας του ο Δίας δεν τον
αγαπάει. Ο Άρης έχει πάντα μαζί του, τους γιους του, Φόβο και Δείμο (τρόμος), για να
σκορπίζουν τον φόβο και τον πανικό στους
αντίπαλους. Επίσης μαζί του είναι και η
Έριδα, η θεά της διχόνοιας.
Του Άρη του αρέσει ο πόλεμος. Είναι σκληρός και εξαιρετικός πολεμιστής,
αλλά δεν είναι πάντα ο νικητής. Πάντα χάνει από την θεά Αθηνά. Με την σοφία της και
την ηρεμία της είναι ικανή, όχι μόνο να τον νικήσει, αλλά μπορεί να δώσει δύναμη και
σε μερικούς θνητούς να κάνουν το ίδιο.
Η γυναίκα του Άρη είναι η θεά της
ομορφιάς η Αφροδίτη. Βοηθάει τον
άντρα της πολλές φορές αλλά όπως είπαμε, αν η Αθηνά είναι στην μάχη εναντίον του,
ο Άρης θα νικηθεί...
