There are two people involved in the creation of this website. Here is some
background information about us.
Tina
I was born in Windsor, Canada and moved to the United States as an
infant. I am married and have two children. Being a first generation Greek
in America, I was lucky enough to travel to Greece many times, visiting my
grandparents and the rest of our family there. I graduated from Wayne
State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Having children of Greek decent, I decided to participate in the creation
of this website because I believe it will be beneficial to them, as well as to
others who are interested in learning the Greek language and culture. My main contribution
to the site has been as a proof reader and design planner. I wish you all much
luck and success, and hope you enjoy our site and all it has to offer.
Efstathios Aronis
I was born in Greece and moved to the United States
in 1989. I am married with three children. I love
computers and the internet, so I started studying HTML, JavaScript, and ASP a few years ago.
Along with these, I also studied C++ and databases, but not extensively. This
web-site was my brain
child many years ago, and I have finally seen it come together after many years and hours
in front of the computer. By the way I am a Greek language teacher, graduated from
"Zosimea Educational Academy" of Ioannina, Greece. I was teaching at two Greek
schools, at "Assumption Greek Orthodox Church" and "St. Johns Greek Orthodox
Church" in the state of Michigan. Now, I'm tutoring children and
adults.
With the help of my cousin Tina and my friend Pete (unfortunately
Pete is no longer with us because of personal problems) we have put this
self studying web-site together. I have done all the design, lessons and
tests, Tina and Pete have helped along with technical issues, proof reading,
phone calls to Copyright office, and other issues to bring this together for
everyone's use.
I know this will be a beneficial teaching tool for everyone who is
interested in learning the Greek language, and other aspects of Greek culture.
If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail anyone here at

I wish all of you, much success in your studies.
